I loved fanny packs before I knew about Jon, but Jon just makes me love them more.
I walk around town with my fanny pack on!

fanny packs? how embarassing...they aren't coming back into style. unless you are wearing a hawaiian shirt and socks with sandals, then it looks pretty darn cool! o who am i kidding jon can pull off practically anything.

I used to wear fanny packs when I did not know any better and had to wear one while in Africa. I also wore a money older that strapped under the clothes while in Africa (so that my money would not be stolen).

I've never worn a fanny pack (and never will), but I wore a zippered travel pouch around my waist (under my clothes) when I was abroad. You should always keep all your money, passport, and other valuables on your person at all times. I now use a pouch that hangs from your neck, tucked under your shirt. I learned that from Rick Steves.

When I was a trainer in high school we had to wear fanny packs with small medical items in them when we were covering games. We weren't too thrilled about it.

This summer, we had to wear one that had a pocket mask and a set of gloves in them. Most of the connector thingies were broken, so it sucked. And everyone jumped into the pool with them on to cool off, but never bothered to dry them out for the next person.. I always just put it around my shoulder, like my rescue tube.
